Electronic Arts:

The betrayal;

Since Electronic Arts (EA) has closed down their most popular games, Pet Society, Scrabble, and Sims Social, to name a few.

The players of these games feel EA's betrayal is the worst thing any gaming company could ever do.

Money was spent and EA profited without any intention to reimburse their customers.

Families, which include children and elderly individuals, where taken advantage of and literally slapped in the face.
Despite the efforts to get Pet Society back, EA has ignored the wishes of its customers and mocked those who invested their hard-earned money into the game.

This same game, which aside from earning EA a lot of money, also created a sense of goodwill and community amongst the players.

In essence, EA shut down the game, and ran off with the money that the players had invested into the game.
In short, many off the gamers feel they have been ripped off on purpose by EA.

The ulterior motives were clear, in tempting the players to spend more money on the game after they had already made the decision to shut it down.
Money was spent on the so called in-game blue cash coins, which had to be bought in order to purchase special luxury items as well as for extra rooms. (See also further comments on this on the other pages of this website).
Despite many attempts to contact EA regarding this; all EA seems willing to do is block the individuals who reach out to them for answers.

Whether it be through emailing, making phone calls, posting at their Facebook page, or sending out tweets, the players continue to be ignored.
Obviously, trying to find a reasonable solution to any of this is not in EA's rule book, but ignoring and blocking us, is.
One solution that could make everyone happy would be for them to allow the game be run by another gaming company. Either that or let dedicated players purchase the game as a console game, or permit dedicated players to play the game with a reasonable fee affixed.

We await EA's comment.

We the players off Pet Society will not stop until justice is served!

We want Pet Society back online so we can continue to play!

We demand EA gives us the game back, in  the same shape, we where forced to leave it!

It is nice to hear EA has been awarded with the worst company of the year award twice in a row already!

It would be nicer if they could win the worst company of the century award plus the gamers poo award!

We are looking forward to your comments.

We thank you, our Pet Society fans from all over the world for your support and dedication.

Is Pet Society worth saving? If you consider the outcome of the Poll, the game most certainly is. With over 20 million players worldwide, do the math. Out of the 625 random people, who took the time to answer the questions, 69% spend money playing. Out of those, 17% spend 1000,-- or more during the time they played. Divide and multiply that outcome by 20 million Pet Society players and the total amount runs into millions.  That is a investment well worth. Aside from the money, it would create  worldwide goodwill and a sense of belonging to the company who would put it back online. Without any doubt very good PR. Why does EA not see this? Well all we can say is the ones making the decisions must not be as smart as the company thinks they are.  But who knows they might change their minds yet. We sure hope so.

Pet Society, a game worth saving!

Poll has been taken by 625 different people.

A special thank's to those who took the time to participate.
